School Garden Consultation

School Garden Consultation

Established 2009
Overview
Establishing and/or supporting school garden programs and natural areas. Each school determines how to best use consultant, either for general upkeep of space, as a garden liaison between school and families, for curriculum establishment, for project management, or for any other needs of the school related to garden or natural spaces.  In some cases the consultant work is focused on a specific theme. An example might be an art-focused theme where projects might include creating stepping stones for garden space or murals for community and school to share with others. Others might be creating Cobb or recycled benches/learning tables for the school, or designing garden beds.
